The soda in the bottle sparkles with pure water drawn from the depths of Valmiermuiža’s 130 metre deep artesian well, and is enriched with carbon dioxide to give it some extra zing. For making elderberry syrup, the Talsi company Ice Berry uses elderberries picked in Latvia’s forests.
