The aldari of Valmiermuiža continue their search for the perfect recipe for the imperial Baltic porter. We offer a more intoxicating version for the second trial, with an even more expressive bouquet of aroma and taste. This traditional porter will grace any festive table - this style of beer has been successful since Livonian times.
The bright black beer pours into the glass with a cap of dark brown persistent foam. The aroma is based on thick, sweet malt with hints of sugarcane and very strong black coffee. In the silky, warming wood, the peculiar bitterness of dark coffee roast is made especially multi-layered by nuances of caramel malt, dried dark fruits and nuts.
